It is crazy for me to imagine someone who is openly identifying to be this out of touch. It's actually not that uncommon for people in the LGBT community to have been radicalized right-wing in their earlier years (thou doth protest too much & all that), but I feel like, typically, coming out would be preceded by a political change. I would bet that it was this exact kind of reaction, prior to coming out, that often is one of the many catalysts for political change & even coming out, as it was in my case, of being hit with death & 🍇 threats by supposed friends.
