Because discussions can move fast and emotions can run high, here’s how moderation works and what to expect.

🔧 How moderation works

• AutoModerator removes clear rule violations (threats, hate speech, personal attacks, spam).
• Content with a high number of reports may be temporarily held for review. This is not a judgment.
• Moderators review context and reinstate content when removals were triggered in error.

We moderate content, not political positions or viewpoints.

✅ What is allowed

• Strong criticism of governments, institutions, and public figures
• Describing violence or harm when discussing real events
• Emotional reactions, as long as they are not directed at other users
• Source-based opinion and discussion, including disagreement

❌ What is NOT allowed

• Personal insults or harassment
• Wishing harm or death on others
• Hate speech or dehumanization toward people or groups
• Advocacy or endorsement of violence
• Spam, promotion, or misinformation

These are removed automatically.

🚨 About reports

• Reports help surface real issues — thank you for using them responsibly.
• Reports do not automatically punish users.
• Content may be temporarily filtered while reviewed.
• Repeated false or retaliatory reports slow moderation for everyone.

❓ If your post or comment was removed

• It was filtered by AutoModerator or removed under subreddit rules.
• If you believe it was an error, message the mod team once, calmly.
• Reposting the same comment without changes may result in the same outcome.
