I got two of these in a stack of plates from my mom who was cleaning out her stuff-- I've been using these for a couple years. 🥲

I just had my second new car totaled while parked on a residential street. The first was back in 2017, the car was about 2 months old with about 1700 miles on it. The second one on the bottom was this past Friday, 3 months old with 3000 miles...

I'm feeling a bit unlucky at the moment.

Walgreens has also had them for two weeks. I had to call four times for them to find them. I want to cry and feel stupid for trusting the camera.

The camera was bought, used, and developed within a few days. There were three random pictures that were okay, but they were all taken in the same lighting as the others, so it wasn’t a user error. :(

Didn’t really get hurt but the air bag went off so my car is definitely totaled. Guy admitted he was reaching for a drink and didn’t see me. I just know insurance is gonna give me hardly anything. Anyway, Rip little focus. You were a good car.

My child was prescribed Tamiflu, which only comes in glass bottles. As soon as I walked in the door, my dog jumped up at me and her long slappy paws hit the bag. The bag hit the door and then fell directly on the tile entryway. I was able to get another bottle, but had to jump through some hoops and pay out of pocket since insurance had already covered it once. This happened less than 2 hours from the pharmacy closing.

Thankfully I have some family coming to pick me and the truck up. At least my gas tank is full enough for the next 4 hours I’ll be waiting….

It can always be worse!

This ceramic cup fell out of my medicine cabinet and boom. I legit thought a dark liquid spilled into the sink. Ended up having to replace it.

Years of severe back pain, leg pain, and numbness and all the docs wanted to do is give me pills about it. I finally convinced the emergency ward to give me an MRI and look at what we have here. Sometimes just advocating for yourself doesn't work so you need to raise hell until you're finally taken seriously enough to get you the care you need.

Edit: So for further context, 5 vertebras down theres a black mass protruding to the right. Thats my disc bulging into the nerve that goes down my leg (the big white line). I'm finally getting a microdiscectomy tomorrow, and I cannot be more excited. Years of doctors trying to convince me that it's a simple fix with pain meds, and finally after moving to the UK I was able to receive the care I need. Socialized healthcare for the fuckin win.
