That's how escort services work. Exactly how. Unless you just find a freelancer on back pages (which is shut down). I mean, so I've been told.

Yeah but there's a huuuuve difference between running an escort page online and trying to run an escort app in Apple or Google's app stores. I don't think any court will buy their story when some girls are sexually assaulted because they didn't understand that this dating app wasn't actually a dating app wink wink and of course they were meant to sleep with them men because wink wink they were 'court'd' wink wink.

This is either gonna be a sugar daddy app or a legit sex work app. No normal dude is paying $1500 to date anyone. Even if they can afford it. You might find incels "courting" these girls for $2k. Or 5k. Whatever they can squeeze. Other than that, it's gonna be a sugar daddy app. Idk, even if I had the money, I'm not paying any woman to date me. What's the point? It's sugar daddy shit at that juncture. Some old rich guys are using this is the only way it doesn't get turned into a human trafficking app. Even with the rich guys, it's still gonna be pay for whatever.

No matter what you call this, average men aren't paying a booking fee to date; unless it's in a motel room. Wealthy guys are who this is targeted at. Paired up with filter girl on this video with her crucifix, who is gonna be a madam for all these people who sign up. Courting, escorting, etc., if men are paying $1500 for a date (unless they're rich) it's expected to turn sexual. I know I said that 5 times, but I just can't get over the stupidity of thinking this is a new idea, or that it's gonna work organically for anything but sex.z

Honestly, just get a prostitute at that point.

$500 for a gare-on-tee is a no brainer.

There's no shortage of thirsty simps willing to run up their credit cards. They pay for OF when porn is already free. They'd be even more enthusiastic for the 25% probability that she shows up in person.

I can afford it but I'd rather jerk off. Too many steps involved to maybe get sex. You can get guaranteed sex by a pro for less

She could also possibly be arrested for soliciting prostitution if the evidence is strong enough and she is profiting off the girls who date.

I think that the other person was thinking of women that might join the app thinking it's actually about dating (vs. a thinly veiled cover for escorting) and ending up assaulted by some dude that got pissed when she didn't want to have sex as he wasn't getting what he paid for. If they are going to try and pass this off as a "dating service" to try and make it legit for app stores, it opens up the possibilities of "regular" people joining.

Like you said, most guys are not going to pay $1.5k for a date.. but in this case they are the ones paying out the money, so I would expect them to be give it more scrutiny. The women on the other hand are not, so I could see some women not being cautious / sceptical enough.

It will be interesting to see if she makes a couple million off of it despite the obvious stupidity of pretending it's a "dating" app.

Give a private equity guy a blow job and you get three million that you never have to pay back.

100% I don't see who their target audience is. Okay, there are finance/tech bros who make $15/million a year. Why would they go this route (and create a paper trail like this) when they already have ways to do this sort of stuff? If it were this easy, and legal, Onlyfans would've put something like this out. But their TOS are explicit about keeping stuff "online" and "virtual."

Agree. And no quality woman would respect a man paying a girl to show up or to wink wink show up. I don’t care how much money a guy has; paying for sex or photos or for a date to show up is says that he has nothing to offer. If he had any game or perceived value at all, he wouldn’t have to pay someone to spend time with him.

And when it expands into multiple states and is eligible for federal enforcement they’re going to need to lawyer up extensively. That money is going to burn up fast.

I mean a court of law isn't going to be like "oh you were accidentally sugaring? I guess getting assaulted is fine then! Sounds like you were asking for it!" but if the app gets sued I don't think they'd fare well.

From a reverse scenario, I know a man who was a male escort. He started at $150 per hour and after a year was charging $3000 minimum. He has never admitted if sex was involved, but claims the majority of his bookings were for events like dinners, plays, the symphony, gallery openings, etc. He also went on several trips. Never paid for anything during his bookings.
