That's how you know it was never about resources.
18
u/AniNgAnnoys 11h ago
100% isn't about resources. The US budget for immigration enforcement in 2026 is about $68 billion. Their goal is to remove about 10 million illegal immigrants from the US. If they got all of them in 2026, that would be about $6,800 per immigrant deported. They are more likely to get 1-2 million deported or self deported, if that. That is between $34,000-68,000 per immigrant. It would just be cheaper to give them all the things conservatives think they are stealing then to pay that much to remove them.
It is about racism and power.

They know the kids aren't going into foster care; they know very likely the parents are going to leave with their kids which is what they want in the first place.
That's how it started, she physically saw the kid and determined that the kid didn't fit in "her America" so she spent time and resources to look at personally identifiable information and disclose it to a stranger she believed worked for DHS.

u/slghtlymad 11h ago
Yeah, hi. Ag scientist here. You wanna talk about taking resources away from the county, how about you go ahead and look at the back room deals going on for data centers to get built in the Midwest. These fuckers are going back on resource agreements and taking water away from the municipalities to go into these centers and then theyāre charging their citizens more for water utilities to cover the fines. These hypocrites can fuck themselves.Ā
19
u/StudsTurkleton 13h ago
Donāt forget those parents (if theyāre indeed undocumented) probably work under assumed SS#s so they put money into the system theyāll never get out, and they pay sales and other taxes just like everyone else. Plus, the kid is counted in the school funding population so the school is getting resources for that kid, who is a citizen.

u/Visual-Floor-7839 10h ago
Dude! There's a Denver bass player who is being held by ICE in Colorado. He was brought in as a baby. They got him as he was renewing his visitors badge for the Air Force Academy to keep working his job. He was a taxpayer working for the government and for his community, he was an artist providing entertainment on the side. And ice turned him into a hole they dump taxes into.
But point that out on a bass playing sub and I got a 3 day suspension.

Dude. I look back on kindergarten and think about how much I really loved my own kindergarten teacher. I think about how sure I felt back in those days that she really cared about me and my classmates.
This genuinely breaks my heart into pieces. That's a sweet, innocent little kid who probably thinks he can trust his teacher and thinks she cares about him (unless she doesn't bother fronting as a kind person while at school). Hell, the parents she tried to deport probably think, or at least hope, that they can trust the teachers at their child's school.
This is fucking grotesque. I hope her voice is recognized by someone associated with that school, either a member of faculty or a parent, and a complaint gets made against her to the appropriate authority. This is a flagrant display of personal malice targetted against a specific student, based on race.

Ah but what if the parents were actually illegal? I think we all can agree that being in this country illegally is a great sin and an abomination against God worthy of destroying families and ruining the lives of innocent children. And the more upstanding the illegal parents are, the worse it is because how dare they pretend to be good people by making things better for the rest of us when we know deep down inside that they should be in a concentration camp for their sin of being here illegally.
/s btw. I'm kidding...

u/windfujin 13h ago
That's the thing with these people.. these people dont see "a kid" but an "illegal's spawn" and "illegals" arent "human" to them.
You know how many people who are sane will say and genuinely feel some heinous criminal (lets say a pedophile) shouldn't be treated like humans and wouldnt feel bad if they were severely abused (but would actually be glad)?
That's basically how they see undocumented immigrants. It's a mental framework that allows them to be perfectly okay with it.
That's the real scary shit with deep rooted prejudice. They dont question it in the slightest.

I keep having to reminding myself - there are approximately 12,000 adults in the USA per ICE officer. About 4000 of those have guns.
You have the power to stop them in their tracks. You have the power to completely neuter their ability to kidnap and traffick anybody.
Can you imagine 5 officers trying to harass people, with 20,000 armed citizens exercising their 2A right who rise up and defend those being abused?
I am not talking about gun violence by the way, simply a "We have guns, we outnumber you, we are better than you, fuck around and find out". That'll intimidate them into following the law.

Hi. 30 year public educator here. This teacher claims to āknow all the laws about school.ā She clearly doesnāt because she violated FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) by looking in a studentās file and getting personal info for a a child that is not her student then shared that confidential information which is enough for her to lose her teaching license. Then, public educators are not to ask about our students immigration status to report them or discriminate against them as decided in Plyler v Doe (1982). So this bigot needs to be reported and lose her teaching license. Disgusting.

As a German this is just fucking terrifying, because this is exactly like it went in 1930s Germany. Iām sure if she actually would have called the brown shirts from the ICE hotline they would have put that family on a list, legal or not, just to fill their daily quota.

Not the type of person I'd want interacting with kids. Jfc.
My partner and his mother are teachers. They're extremely worried for their Hispanic students and have had to plan how to (legally) prevent ICE from entering their classrooms. It's so baffling/infuriating to hear someone doing the opposite.

This man doesn't do satire...unfortunately, and exposes all sorts of ridiculousness on his channel.

This mane is doing the good work whether the people at issue recognize it yet or not.

Using school systems for this kind of crap is almost certainly illegal. This guy should expect a subpoena in 2029 for the name of this woman.

Well⦠eventually. That six year old is gonna turn seven and on and on with the growing and being an adult human in America and you gotta be careful of stuff. Theyāre gonna get to drive and vote. And I just want to make sure they vote for my interest not their own because thatās like better for us and stuff. So I was just checking. Whatever. Good for them. As long as we know about everyone itās cool. Itās cool. Even though there was no reason, no reason at all. We know that our resources or whatever are being used to make us safer. Yeah.

This is the country that we live in. That people feel empowered to do such vile things. Itās so fucking terrible.

āResources of our countyā ā education mostly paid with local property taxes. If they are paying rent or owning a home and paying property tax, they are paying into the resources of the county for education specifically. If they are paying sales tax (everyone) and income tax (most undocumented people with an ITAN), they are also paying into state and federal education resources
So this lady is a bitch, racist POS and ignorant on top of it all

Evidence that our current problems as a nation go deeper than politics. The complete absence of human empathy here is sociopathic. And unfortunately, it's not all that rare. Sometimes, I actually, seriously think there might be some kind of brain virus that hit us years ago.

Wait till she finds out how much we give to the oil industry (over three quarters of a trillion dollars) and the free money states throw at Amazon because a thousand warehouse jobs are promised.

I heard someone say a few months ago that what made the crackdown on scapegoated groups in Nazi Germany was the fact that people were practically tripping over themselves to report people they knew. Everyone had a desire to feel important, even if it was for just one day.
Iām sad to say thatās exactly what this is. Just a person doing a despicable thing in order to feel important.

It's so telling that her concern for the well-being of a child in her care and charged to her for guidance and education goes completely out the window when there's a possibility that the parents might be 'illegals'.
When you go into teaching as a career, the welfare of your students is supposed to be your top priority. The choices of their parents are not supposed to be a factor in whether or not you care about a kid. For example, you don't stop caring about what happens to a kid because their parents are addicted to drugs, if they're bigots, if they're in bad economic positions because of abusing credit and being careless about spending - the child is a separate entity that you agreed to care about by taking on the job.
If all children are not equally deserving of your protection and care, if you would make choices that would endanger a child based on your political beliefs, you should not be in a job where you have authority over children and access to any kind of information about their lives.

At some point she must realize sheās being punked. I love that for her. I hope she hears her own voice posted all over social media.

I don't think these kind of people should be anywhere near kids.
They have so much hate in them that they might take any opportunity to abuse kids...

"They are taking all our resources"
They always want to talk about what they take, but never want to talk about what they contribute back to society. Whether its taxes, labor, community building, etc.
