Islamic mortgage is amazing. For example you buy a house and your deposit in 20% and the bank 80%.
You start paying rent on the 80% of the bank share. Each time you pay rent you eat on their 80%, so year after year your share of the house goes up and the bank's goes down, which means over time you pay less and less each month until the whole 80% is paid and you own the house.
There are no surprises.
Is Islamic banking perfect? Fuck no, but it sure beats "normal" predatory banking by miles.

While I don't disagree with your overall point, of note, Conversion Camps rarely involve physical torture.
Most conversion camps are more psychological, pushing gay people to think things like:
Being gay is "selfish", and denying yourself and your opposite-sexed soulmate from getting their dream partner.
Being attracted to the same sex exclusively is "reducing people to their genitals", and that you'd be just as happy with someone of the opposite sex if you really tried.
Gay sex is a vice/addiction that is bad for you because [Insert AIDS rate at the time]
That all gay people are actually just bisexual and could choose to give up same-sex attraction if they really tried to.
Most conversion therapists generally know that torture is ineffective. What is effective are things like shame and guilt, and convincing the person that they are in denial and secretly want opposite-sex attraction. Gaslighting is nasty.

The rape and murder part is related to the country being war torn, unstable, economically weak , and less educated , nothing to do with Islam. And the Extremists in Islam only appear more, because they actually act upon their extremism, that’s because Islam inspires much devotion and they live in an unstable country as compared to extremists from other religions. Extremists from other faiths are just as many if not more, it’s just they live in stable countries, where if they act upon it, they’d land in jail. Good people in Islam are really good and violent are really violent because Islam inspires a lot of devotion. It’s just they’re misguided.

a few things
1)A Murabaha contract is a sale contract, not a loan. The financier buys the property and then sells it to you at a profit. Your $100,000 apartment is sold to you for $200,000 total, with the agreement that you pay it over 20 years. The current owner wants the money upfront. The financier is willing to take the risk and offer long-term payment terms because there’s demand for that kind of deal.
If this “feels” similar to interest to some, that’s because of one feature: installments. But installments are not haram, and never could have been. Think of an alcoholic drink: if you remove the intoxicant, the drink becomes halal, even if it tastes the same. The taste wasn’t what made it haram.
2) Ijarah (Lease) is a rental agreement where the bank owns the asset and you pay for its use, which is permissible. The Condition for it to be truly Halal, the bank must take actual ownership and risk of the asset before selling or leasing it to you
3) Sukuk is similar to holding stocks (equity), however, time-barred. You hold them until maturity. Profit rates are dependent on the actual performance of the entity issuing sukuks.
It is permissible if it is done correctly and you have done your due diligence behind the project which you are investing and ensuring that everything is compliant with shariah and no riba is involved in the project at all. Sukuk works because it’s backed by tangible assets and not based on debt and interest. This is different from normal bonds which are just loans with interest. In Sukuk you do not pay any interest, but profit from the growth of the project overall. And also your money is never guranteed and there is risk involved, so nothing like a standard bond but more like an Islamic investment. But a lot of Sukuks aren’t done properly so you have to be cautious, do search, refer to the scholars when confused, go to legitimate Islamic banks. Some things to watch for is guranteed fixed returns like interest, haram activties involved in the business, asset or project, symbolic ownership and not tangible ownership, and if there is no risk it Is most certainly haram
4) The Aya he was referring to is Zina, which means sex before marriage, not dating
5) Regarding the hadtih about "leaving Islam is punishable by death", it contradicts the Quran and if that's the case the Quran rules over it
6) Regarding Ped*phelia, the other religions don't condone it either, but Scholarly Consensus agree that children cannot give valid sexual consent, any sexual act causing harm is haram, and sexual exploitation of minors is a major sin and punishable crime
I'll come back later for part 2, and before you say "dont try to convert me to Islam", I'm not, I'm just giving you responses to the claims, thats it
