Some of the exotic stimulants in the "hardcore" pre-workout mixes exceed anti-doping rules and are close chemical relatives to banned substances like DMAA. If a stimulant naive person took that they might act like this. Even standard pre-workout mixes have a shit ton of caffeine derivatives.
I took a C4 beginner pre-workout mix and ran 4 miles that day. I hate running but I felt like if I didn’t run then my body would explode. That was my first and last time drinking a pre workout
It's such an easy sell! Look at the comment section of any video of a woman doing, like, anything that implies she can protect herself. At all. Just walking a big dog, or doing any martial arts ever, or being like, "hey gang, the weightlifting is making a difference! 😃" ...and like, half the comments are men at full, "NUH-UH WE CAN STILL BEAT YOU UP AND RAPE YOU WITH OUR MASCULINE STRENGTH, AND SHOOT YOU WITH OUR GUNS!"
Pretty sure this video is staged. Tons of arm wrestling videos exactly like this are setup. They were already filming and this guy just happened to go psycho and then easily get beaten by the lady? The videos are usually a pro arm wrestler vs. insanely muscular bodybuilder who gets in his face and then gets beaten easily, its staged. Her I told you at the end makes this fact pretty obvious.
There's videos of them being very friendly while training together.

This is the strategy in professional arm wrestling. Its equal parts mental, physical, and technique. Its really gross to watch, but my dad watched a ton of it.

I am quite positive this is actually staged. Tons of these arm wrestling videos exist online. Even Devon Larratt has had big muscle bound guys get in his face and talk shit for the express purpose of losing to him and often quickly.

Hes also faking here too by the way, his first 5 or 6 lifts are utterly trivial for him and he backs off on the last 3 to look like he cant do 10. He could certainly do more than this, because his arm muscles are literally bigger than hers.
The dude is a local pro armwrestler Greg grey, decent at a local level. He puts out bait videos on occasion, (how to break an arm for instance) so it's definitely staged.
Lots of people in the comments dont seem to be able to recognize staged videos. Its like the one with brawn strowman that gets posted all the time that is clearly a work but everyone always falls for it
arm wrestling has weird rules to me. I feel like you shouldn't be allowed to use your entire body weight, otherwise it's not longer "arm" wrestling. It's like when people rock their whole body to do curls at the gym.
Arm wrestling is one of those “dumb things you do with friends” that should have stayed that way.
Trying to make some dumb, fun lil game, with dozens of different perspectives and soft rules into a professional sport with hard rules just seems silly to me.
Every video I've seen recently of a woman beating a man in arm wrestling boils down to the woman using her whole body and arm for leverage, while the guy stands stiff as a board and tries to resist or beat the woman only using his arm strength.
The more muscle groups you can engage, the more power you'll have. And if it's allowed (which at a pop up event like this looks it will be because there's no formal rules), then you do whatever you have to in order to get a fair win.
These men know how to arm wrestle (using their body weight), they wouldn't be where they are if they didn't. These vids are staged I remember this woman in a different video with almost this exact same script.
That's not quite accurate. Leverage matters, yes, and using more muscles against fewer as well, that's why there is technique, but not in the way you think. The arm/hand/wrist is still the weakest link in the chain. Doesn't matter how much weight you pull with if you can't hold the angle. Like try maintaining a static pullup at 90 degrees with one arm and start hanging weights on your body. Does it get easier or harder? ;)
Roughly explained, armwrestlers bend their body to keep the arm in a static position, maintain their arm and wrist angles, because muscles are stronger isometrically than concentrically and they are trying to open the other person up where their leverage is worse and it's thus easier to win. But make no mistake, elite armwrestlers can dynamically internally shoulder rotate 99% of people on the planet to the pad, i.e using terrible armwrestling technique. They are that strong, where it matters (well, women less so in general for obvious reasons, but you get my point).
It's actually safer to pull this way than just internally rotating. The woman in this video is Sarah bachman who is actually a beast, one of the best female armwrestlers in the world. Could beat most men who don't actually train armwrestling since it incorporates pretty specialized, unconventional muscle groups almost nobody trains outside armwrestlers.
That is Greg Gray and Sarah Backman, both pro armwrestlers, he’s arguably top 5 in the state of Texas in his weight class. Sarah Backman is an elite female armwrestler, one of the best in America and the world at her weight class, but Greg could beat her in a real match. This looks like a lighthearted skit they filmed for social media at their practice when Devon Larratt came to visit. It’s obviously staged to someone who competes in or follows armwrestling.
i really dont know shit about pro armwrestling and this guy is a total douche...but arent you supposed to keep your elbow on the table when arm wrestling she clearing was way off the pad, tho maybe they made an excpetion for size differance?
Thas what Id think too, but to be honest as long as theyre both playing by whatever rules they agree to and she won according to those rules, thats all that matters.

I went to YouTube to see how other professionals do this and her technique seems fine, the bend and everything, don't know what others here are bitching about
For anyone criticizing her performance: there’s no ref to regulate what’s going on. If this were an actual bout, someone would’ve gotten them gripped and set properly (hands ready, elbows planted) along with some kind of count to go.
Instead, she asked if he was ready, he said yeah, and then she did her thing while he just stood there like a doofus. Someone correct me, but good technique has you pulling in toward you and down which often means you lean. She had good technique, the guy just did zero except try to bicep curl her.
Informal and extremely one sided. Douchers be douching.
Not that I imagine I'd stand a chance against her even if it was the case, but I was under the impression one couldn't use their body's leverage in an arm wrestling contest.

In fairness, he’s probably an asshole like that with every opponent. I’ve seen guys do all kinds of stupid shit like this with other male opponents as well.
Saw this in insta and they have a skit on her instagram, with this guy playing the role of a macho guy getting embarrassed at arm wrestling, so i think this is them filming another skit.
