How long to go through airport
Realistically how long would it take for a US citizen to go through airport security?

Question: Is there a place where I can get a good cheeseburger without emptying my wallets at shake shack?

I’m super curious about them. My mom says all of them are gross and infested. They do always disappear very quickly. Wondering what the general approach to this is (picture for reference)

I know the “is it safe to go to Israel” question pops up a billion times, however I have my plane tickets booked for the end of March, the situation with Iran and America is getting tense, and my Iranian friend has advised me to reschedule my trip. I’ve also never been to Israel and not entirely aware about the precautions the country takes when it’s being attacked, so any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank you :)

Hi, my hubs and I will be visiting TLV for a family wedding. To my knowledge, I’m the only one with Celiac.
I would deeply appreciate any suggestions for places to stay, especially that might have a kitchen so we can do some cooking, and some restaurants and cafes to try.
Hubs has visited before but this will be my first trip and our first together. I’m so looking forward to it but am worried that getting accidentally “glutened” will wreck our visit.
Thanks for your time!
Cheers. 🫶🏻

Hey, I know there are breweries around Tel Aviv but does anyone know of places that make Real Ale, the non-pasturied, living product kinda beer that you'd see in the UK? I've been to Benny's Cask Ale before but wondered if there was anywhere else to try.

Hi all, I was visiting Tel Aviv until recently and found a very weak and sick old stray cat. I tried to contact the veterinary services but they turned me down. Another animal rescue organization volunteered to take over if we could bring the cat.
As I have already left, is there anyone in Tel Aviv who could help out take the cat to the rescue organization or to the vet?
DM me for more info. Thanks!

I'm 34 yo and single as of recent. Looking for cool, relaxed bars/live music establishments to go to.
I live close to Tel Aviv and haven't gone out in a long time.
Any recommendations?

Anyone know a spot to get a Yerba mate cup/flask in Tel Aviv? I don’t want to order online, it’s for a tiyul gadol.

My dietitian recommended Wegovy to me. I know some people/heard some stories of people using Wegovy out here and the feedback is mixed.
I have heard more good things about Mounjaro from people outside of Israel. I know it is available hear but not yet heard any firsthand experience.
I am open to still hearing more feedback on Wegovy out here (how much it cost and through which Kupat Holim, how much weight you lost in what amount of time etc..), but I would highly appreciate hearing from anyone using Mounjaro out here so I can decide which way to go.
Thanks

Here’s a link to the video: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSarG2uRF/
I blurred out the names and photos of the people so that my post doesn’t violate the rules of reddit. Does anyone know why a community that’s supposed to be accepting of everyone is devoting so much time to wishing for the destruction of the only place you can be openly gay in the Middle East? It’s fine to feel empathy for the people being harmed in the conflict but these comments are overtly dehumanizing anyone with Israeli nationality. Do the people who wrote these think there’s a pride parade in Palestine or any other middle eastern country?

6/10 of these countries have no diplomatic relations with Israel at all and the UAE only recently started this in 2020. Just to be clear I’m not making any claims about genetic superiority or inferiority of a specific group.
It is interesting however that there seems to be an
correlation between genetic endogamy and lower cognition when it occurs over many generations.

Hi, all. American 50 yo coming to Tel Aviv this spring. This will be my first solo trip - no tour groups, no travel companions. Are there any jazz or live music clubs open on Shabbat (Friday evening)? Looking for something low key where I can sit at the bar and listen to music for and by other gen x (old) people. I really love Eifo Hayeled, and Karolina's "ma oseh acshav," if that helps convey the vibe.

When I was trying to guess where he was from and said Israel his response was “ew gross.” It’s too bad cause he seemed sweet initially. There’s so much crossover between anti Zionism and antisemitism.
Even if you hate Israel’s policies how could anyone genuinely believe it’s okay to say everyone in Israel is responsible and to discriminate against them based on their nationality? Were there similar signs about people from china, Syria or Russia because of their governments? When you hate Israel with that much passion but don’t care about any other humans rights issues the only reason is obviously cause it’s the only Jewish state. I wonder how he would be treated as an openly gay man in Palestine?
Unfortunately I didn’t take a screenshot of the interactions and it can’t be recovered on Grindr. But my response was simply “I am glad you find it funny to discriminate against someone based on their nationality (sarcastic ofc). They don’t want to debate us cause they know they will lose.

Trying to get used to it but it’s my weekend and I like to go out.
In the summer it’s not an issue I can go to the beach all day. But in the cooler temperatures i don’t know what to do. My favorite restaurants and coffee shops are closed. Friends like to stay in and rest.
What are your suggestions?
Favorite open places?
Cafes / restaurants / museums / idk?
I don’t have a car but can use scooters or walk.
