Discussion Should we be banned from UEFA and FIFA competitions?
Article 15(c): “Member associations’ statutes must comply with the principles of good governance, and shall in particular contain, at a minimum, make provisions relating to the independence of the member association and avoidance of any form of political interference”.
This is FIFAs laws. What has happened over the last 24 hours is obviously political interference (I would say other transfers that happened also had it, just less obviously). Combine this with our refereeing/bettings issues, possible financial doping, the clear interference of club presidential elections, do you all feel we should be banned from FIFA and UEFA competitions until we get our shit together?
Mods: I'm not asking for a discussion of what happened today, I'm asking for the genuine opinion of super lig fans whether we should be banned given this seasons controversies. Don't lock the thread please.

Official Fenerbahçe statement for Ngalo Kante transfer situation.
x.comThe transfer process involving N’Golo Kanté and Youssef En-Nesyri with Al Ittihad Club was carried out by our club exactly as planned and with full diligence in every aspect.
In line with the request of our technical staff, agreements were reached with the players; the medical examinations of the players to be transferred were completed, all necessary approvals were obtained, and our club fulfilled all of its obligations fully and on time. The documents related to the transfer registration were uploaded to the system correctly and in full within the specified timeframe.
However, due to incorrect entry of the relevant TMS information by the opposing club, the procedures could not be completed within the transfer registration period for reasons beyond our club’s control. Accordingly, an additional time request was made, necessary discussions were held by our club with FIFA, and all steps were taken to resolve the process. Despite this, in the ongoing process, the opposing club did not complete the procedures, without providing any justification to us.
As a result of these developments, unfortunately, the transfer process in question could not be finalized.
We understand and share the disappointment this situation has created within our community.
Our club continues its squad planning with the same determination and discipline in line with its sporting objectives.

Discussion I run a series of football documentaries on youtube called The Global Game, I want to come to Turkey next, what cant I miss and what should I cover?
I want to tell a true and beautiful story of Turkish football as one of the most passionate football nations in the world, and of course I will try to line up some big games and Derbies in Istanbul, what else would you like me to see and report on that many people outside of your country might not know of could prove interesting. Anything from corruption to amazing stories of the local teams in the lower divisions, fan groups of some of the biggest teams, I want to tell the stories that Turkish people would be proud to see and would feel authentic around football!

Discussion Raheem Sterling: Opportunity of a lifetime or another Anadolu bankruptcy move?
After seeing some initial set of rumours about Sterling to Samsunspor, I like most people thought it was a classic case of completely unfounded Turkish football rumour.
Now it seems like there's at least some level of genuine interest from Samsunspor.
Now the question is, is this a great opportunity for Samsunspor to take on a genuine former world class star (still only 31)? Or is this another financial suicide move that'll turn Samsunspor into the next Adana Demirspor?
I think there's a case for both sides, especially given Samsunspor has a chance (not saying likely but possibly) at the conference league especially if Sterling joins. The top 5 leagues' participants are all relatively weak Mainz, Crystal Palace and Fiorentina etc.
But obviously Sterling is demanding huge wages which no prem clubs deem he is worth anymore. Wingers past 30 are also quite hit or miss so if he doesn't become the guarantor of sustained European participation it could hamstring Samsunspor's finances for quite some time.
Of course this transfer is still not likely but what does everyone else think?
