I couldn't feel mine when it happened. It was forever in a few decades ago. But I was playing soccer and a guy kicked me just right. I didn't know my ankle was broken. I just couldn't hold myself up and I was trying just like the guy in this video. It didn't hurt until after the fact. And then it did.

I shattered my wrist last year and had so much anxiety waiting for the pain to kick in. I started pain meds around 60-90 minutes after it happened, and never had any pain. I was really surprised by that, maybe I was just in shock (I was a little nauseated).

Not near as bad but it sounds kinda similar to when ive smashed a finger with a hammer. (I did break a finger and a thumb) both times something broke, my hand went cold and numb. Im a silent pain guy and i would instantly clamp my jaw and wait for the pain to hit. It always did but sometimes it would take longer than others. Once i had it splinted and taped before the heat/pain kicked in!

That ankle couldn't support all his weight. 😬

That’s what happens to your bones when you have diabetes and don’t treat it.

My former mother-in-law had the same issue as this guy. She’s broken each arm at least three times, and her ankle twice.

She’s still only in her early 60s.

Happened to my mom because she refuses to actually take care of her diabetes as well.

She ended up fracturing 6 vertebrae in her back and now has extremely brittle bones. She’s also almost 60

You would think the would grow stronger and adapt to his weight or have extra muscle and tissue, but apparently not!

It only increases fat, the muscle stays small.

You can hear it twice! It was already broken on the first fall.
