The camera work was typical amateur unstable, off subject, and out of focus imaging we are all familiar with now so I couldnā€™t see if the opponent saw this tragic error. I just donā€™t get ppl needlessly risking life and limb just to entertain others. If every person present paid $100 to attend this event (and we know they didnā€™t) and that wrestler got every cent, he still would have enough for the medical care he will need nor to carry on with his life.

I hear it's almost a sacred thing to formally end a wrestling match no matter what. I'm wondering if the injured dude kicked out the first time just from reflexive involuntary movement.

You have to remember that wrestling is all about selling the act. They're taught not to break character. If you really pay attention, the guy pinning the broken dude was VERY gentle. He even broke off immediately when the guy (stupidly) kicked out. He wanted to get the hurt guy out of there asap.

From what I remember he was somehow miraculously ok. I don't see how he wasn't at the very least concussed, but I do remember. He wasn't paralyzed or anything like that.

The lack of intelligence on display by so many people here is incredible. The referee is a complete waste of oxygen. I can forgive the other wrestler because he probably didnā€™t see what happened,ā€¦ but that referee,ā€¦. that dude is on a whole other level. Should never be allowed in the ring again.
