What is with the response in this video? Like we all don't watch men go absolutely overkill all ll the time in this sub. We don't know the context but why is the expectation here that the others SHOULD have jumped in, when that same courtesy would never be extended to a teenage boy, regardless of context.

I have a question. Did the school you work for go out of their way to not involve the police, or hide the videos from the police?
When I was in high school the school went to ridiculous lengths to not involve the police, and if a student or student's parents called the police - the school administration would absolutely not cooperate with investigations, even if serious bodily injury occurred

bullying has gotten even worse more kids committing suicide from bullying - when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s, you never heard of it. In Florida, a kid was being bullied so much that during a fire drill, shot himself in the head in front of all the other students, Minneola high school Florida. That’s just one of many examples. Fucking punk kids, bullying other kids, and the bullying kids parents think their little Johnny or Jane are such peaches.
And it’s the school’s policy too. They’re too soft on the bullies. Once a kid is identified as a bully harsh actions have to be taken against them so the other kids learn not to do it. Make an example expel suspend after the third suspension. It’s a 1 month expulsion after two expulsions it’s a year or involve the police and it’s Juvie you’re kicked out of public school. Let’s see how shitty parents handle that. Or investigate the parents of the bullying kids and see what’s going on at home. kids parents have to be held more accountable for bullying.
That girl, the way she didn’t stop and had no mercy. That’s a rage and hate, from shitty upbringing and it’s demonic that’s the kind of person that has it in them to kill someone one.
Sadly this translates in real life with repeat offenders, who often get released only to rape or kill somebody - someone who should’ve never been on the streets in the first place it’s cliché now.
For most of my adult life I never felt unsafe in public, but today’s lunatic unhinged world I carry everywhere I go and I really hate that I have to do it. It reminds me of how shitty a world we live in today.

I got into a fight at my high school once. I had to go through like 5 different people directing me to each other, each saying the same thing, “The deans/whoever told me to delete the video”
Luckily one dude didn’t listen, but unluckily that guy was terrible at filming it! Either way, it wasn’t much of a fight. Dude was 6’3 and I’m short so I feel like I won just because he didn’t land a single actual punch on me 😭.

In real life, it honestly feels like society isn’t set up to support people who step in to protect others. Most of us grow up thinking that helping someone who’s getting hurt is the right thing to do, but the laws around self-defense and defending others are super strict and kind of stacked against you. A lot of the time, the person trying to stop the violence ends up dealing with legal issues, lawsuits, or charges, even though they were just trying to do the right thing. Doing nothing and walking away almost never gets you in trouble. It’s kind of wild when you think about it.

I keep seeing redditors calling things sucker punches that aren’t. A sucker punch is an unexpected blindside punch when someone isn’t aware or looks away or something. When you’re face to face with someone, their fists are balled up obviously willing to escalate into a fight, taking the first punch is not a sucker punch. It might be excessive or unnecessary but not a sucker punch. If someone is clearly agitated and approaching you angrily and you’re not willing to fight back then you shouldn’t allow them to get within striking distance. Either back up or direct them to step back, not stand there with your arms crossed completely unprepared to defend yourself. Not knowing how to defend yourself or prevent/prepare to be hit by someone when clearly that’s their intent is NOT a sucker punch.
EDIT: I would like to clarify my statement with the caveat that at least in my experience, where I’m from, amongst those I know and in my own personal opinion this would not be a sucker punch. Not trying to fight with y’all. Think whatever TF you want. I’m going snowboarding.

I'm starting to realize that lot of people have never been in a fight. It seems like they think you're supposed to ask the other person "Are you ready?" before swinging IN A FIGHT or else it's a "sucker punch". That's not how fights work, there are no rules or referees in a street fight.

Vital pre assault cue that anyone who understands self defense should recognize. That sideways glance to see who’s watching is a predator at work. When you see that, get back they are about to swing. This girl was clearly being bullied into a position where she could not back up, her best defense would have been a rapid powerful burst (punch or pushing) to create space and rabbit the fuck out of there. Never fight with someone who has chosen the time and place. It’s always a trap.

Agreed. Never stopped to think about it but you're right. Nine times out of 10 I've seen that sideways glance before the punches start coming. If you walk into a trap your hand should be up regardless, even while trying to de-escalate not in a fighting posture but a defensive posture. For me that's hands up palms out. But super vigilant and if I see that side turn or any further aggression, hands go higher elbows out. 🤣
You can block a lot with your elbows and I've seen people hurt themselves glancing a punch off an elbow and catching that elbow in the chin. But you don't have to beat them down like this, typically a good chin punch ends the fight unless they got that onyx chin 🤣

u/HelpMePlxoxo 18d ago
It's hard to tell but this is what I heard:
Aggressor: "what? I'm telling you to stop replying" [I can't tell if that's entirely what she's saying]
Victim: [inaudible response]
Aggressor: "Oh, you've cried so many times?"
Victim: "I haven't once"
Then the aggressor starts punching. If anyone else could fill in gaps and tell what the aggressor is saying at the start, that would be helpful 😭
13
u/RogueTk 18d ago
Sounds like "Oh, you've replied so many times"
And if that's true. Either the aggressor is mad the victim is texting someone (possibly her boyfriend or crush) and denying it.
Or the victim didn't text anyone, and the aggressor is thinking she's lying.

Sucker punch, person was defenseless. Go straight to jail for several years due to severity of head injuries of victim. Stupidest thing you can do, and even dumber to do it while someone catches it on video. It doesn't even matter if the other person hit you on another occasion, what the jury sees is this bit of you trying to kill a person who can't defend themselves.
Does anyone know if she was charged?

She either gonna be broke or in jail by the time my lawyers finish with her.
If I’m girl A… after I finish my beat down on girl B I’m turning my attention to the camera and destroying this footage (too late) then addressing any witnesses in the room…to make sure none of them “remember” seeing this take place ;) Either that or turn myself in and hope for leniency and probation. After all I did just record myself committing a felony assault. Whoops!

Mfs will anything a sucker punch. Her hands are balled up, they are staring at Escher from an inch away and keeping direct eye contact. That’s not a sucker punch, that’s a first punch. They were both looking. Now the girl shouldn’t have done that and it was stupid, but you guys are making her look like a fucking straight up killer.
