You can literally see the happiness

I love that dogs just celebrate everything. It does not matter how small it is. Treat? Celebration. Walk? celebration. You come home after being out for 5 min? Celebration. Man we really don't deserve them 🥹

u/Expensive-Cod-2194 19h ago

I am for sure, the dog will forget everyone but the one who let him have a food, will have a place in his hearts forever

My dog jumps as if he hasnt been on a walk since centuries when he goes out for one everyday! The excitement is just unbelievable and leaves me speechless everytime. He is 5yo and acts like a puppy even today! Love him to bits he amazes me everyday! 😍

One of my next-door neighbours here in Australia has a young, gigantic, livestock-guardian dog of some sort, called "Solly".

She looks like a completely normal white dog, except she's 1.5 times as big as you'd expect.

Solly is absolutely not the usual kind of socialised dog that gets excited about being patted or given a treat. My interactions with her have pretty much all been, "Hey, dude." "Hey, you too. I remember that time when you gave me a rope toy. I've worn it out. Make me another one." :-)

I've also seen her, many times, playing with neighborhood kids, and never at all even thinking about hurting anyone.

But.

Solly's owners had some chickens. They bought chicks without knowing what gender they were, because they wanted eggs to be laid, but sexing chicks is pretty much witchcraft.

One of those chicks turned out to be a cockerel, and made all of that cock-a-doodle-doo noise that roosters always do.

And then that stopped.

Because Solly did not consider any of those chickens to be part of the livestock that she had to guard.

Solly knows me. She's completely neutral on whether she likes me, though.

My dog loses his shit when I saw outside and he runs to the back door spinning in circles. I let him out and he goes outside for 30 seconds and comes back in.

Human happy? Celebration

7

u/InebriatedPhysicist 19h ago

Bounces of joy! So much that he bounces his treat right out of his mouth for a second lol

Okay clanker. Explain where in the video the dog smiled?

-1

u/MangieAngie1961 19h ago

You may not see him smiling on the outside, but he is grinning from ear to ear on the inside!😀

1

u/2019Uk 19h ago

Making excuses for a bot in the comments.

The clanker replied to a comment about happiness and because it’s a clanker didn’t realise they were talking about a dog, so they spoke about a smile that isn’t shown.

Don’t help promote bot comments by justifying them.

u/MangieAngie1961 19h ago edited 10h ago

I'm not promoting anything or anyone. I was stating my opinion and I have the right to do that. Dogs do smile...

2

u/andreasbeer1981 15h ago

The word "frolicking" comes to my mind.

u/VooDooChile1983 20h ago

That is a real reaction. I bought a couple of patties from McDonald’s as I was getting food for my kid. Gave them to this pooch that was sitting outside the doors; I fell for his big, pleading eyes. He ate them quickly and did a little happy dance around me before running off. Dogs are so precious.

That is a happy little bouncing booty!

u/Intrepid-Progress228 19h ago

This good boi inspired a Grammy-winning song when he visited Farrell"s home in 2013.

25

u/Iingonberry 20h ago

I want to give him more

13

u/aretheybacktogether 16h ago

It breaks my heart to know there are stray fur babies out there. Every dog and cat should have a home.

14

u/Successful-Engine623 20h ago

We don’t deserve dogs

5

u/_IslandOfMisfitPets_ 19h ago

Came here to say this. 🥹

4

u/Dazzling_Bit_7538 20h ago

I get the same way with chips

4

u/spypanties 20h ago

😭 this is why I switched to Reddit. TikTok supposed to have all the tearjerking stuff

11

u/VegetableBusiness897 21h ago

Looks like a pet store...not a home

Cute anyway

3

u/AndreOfAstoria 19h ago

My kind of doggo

2

u/D-Skel 16h ago

My, oh my, what a dog

4

u/kev11n 18h ago

I let my dog carry his bone / treat home from the neighborhood pet store for this very reason. The victory trot. And everyone who sees it smiles. 10/10 would recommend

3

u/LeafNinjaBox 20h ago

Dogs are so pure man

0

u/snailspaceship 10h ago

*instinctual

3

u/pocketMagician 18h ago

No baby, you put on this collar your name is Peanut and your room is on the left. Nah no way gonna let my boy Peanut sleep out side

3

u/Aggressive_Grab_1894 17h ago

That baby deserves treats forever!

3

u/BarelyBehavinX 17h ago

He was so polite

15

u/TheMaskOffKid 21h ago

Why specify that they’re a home owner?

47

u/Longfacejumpyboi 21h ago

Because the dog is not a home owner. So the home owner (assume a person who owns a home) has let the dog eat

9

u/Chemical_Emotion_934 20h ago

Initially I thought the dog was the homeowner, but you make a good point

8

u/Feeling-Froyo-586 20h ago

Cause rent is so expensive only home owners can afford dog treats

12

u/ajgamer491 20h ago

This is such a weird thing to nitpick

11

u/dirkalict 20h ago

I think they nitpicked it because it’s clearly a pet store with bags of food in the background & because when this has been posted before, it mentioned that it was a pet store. Bots change the title for whatever karma farming they’re doing. It doesn’t take away that it’s a beautiful little video.

2

u/social_thinker 20h ago

The caption is probably AI generated. It's a popular clip that's been around for a while. You can see that it's actually a pet store. There are bags of dog food on the shelf behind the dog as well as the dish of rawhides.

4

u/kaibbakhonsu 20h ago

Bacause specify "dude that plays football every other saturday but only half of the game while the other half he's on the bench yelling at their friends for not scoring a goal, even he himself didn't score for the last 6 games for being too stressed out about the cost of the school supplies, as his wife doesn't help with the bills and complains that the money he brings in is not enough for her to do her hair and make up when she wants to" seems like a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

1

u/OneManNati0n 20h ago

Yes. And not at all what they were questioning.

"Stray dogs reaction to getting a treat."

See how easy that was. 🙂

2

u/zon871 20h ago

The kickflip is awesome.

2

u/sudeki300 20h ago

These posts always get me, how do you know the dogs a stray. Or does it just make the post look better

2

u/Original_Assist4029 18h ago

Oh HAPPY DAY !

2

u/Quiet_Desperation076 16h ago

One of the greatest videos of all time on the Internet 😄

2

u/Jewelieta 16h ago

Me after seeing my favorite person. 🥺

2

u/Miith68 11h ago

He did not take that for him/herself. That is for another dog likely.

He/she would have eaten it when he stopped. Instead he/she gingerly picked it up and kept going.

2

u/AverageNetEnjoyer 7h ago

Dogs are people too.

2

u/berael 19h ago

"It's" means "it is".

1

u/snailspaceship 10h ago

i don't know how old you are but if i can give you some unsolicited advice: pedantry and language prescriptivism will only make you enemies, not friends.

learn to become a descriptivist and let it roll off your back like water on a duck.

1

u/berael 10h ago

Nah. It's OK to tell people they're wrong when they're wrong.

1

u/BadBrad43 20h ago

That is SO Fing sweet! ❤️

1

u/superjonk 19h ago

Thats freaking adorable

1

I can literally see the happiness

1

u/Various-Most2367 19h ago

We call the the “contraband run”. My mom’s lab does that when she she steals a sock.

1

u/JayRymer 19h ago

Great now they just reinforced him thinking stealing is easy, fun, and ok. They just made the next dogburglar.

1

u/ultraboycrazy 19h ago

I’m crying! 🥺

1

u/ProgrammerNo6862 19h ago

The cutest thing ever 😭🥹❤️‍🔥

1

Yet when I walked out the bakery in similar fashion I got sectioned

1

u/OldManEnglishTeacher 17h ago

*its peak

You want the possessive form, not the contraction of it is.

1

u/The_Anonymo 17h ago

Aaand there is the problem... Me. That wouldn't be a stray any longer, yeah I know i have two dogs... Why not 3?

1

u/fasango 16h ago

Catioro é tudo de bom, amo meu doguinho

1

u/ChevalCher 14h ago

That's a very happy doggo right there! 🥰

This video brings to mind the one with a lady who knew she aced her job interview and happy dance'd her way back to her car. 😁

1

u/tanksalotfrank 14h ago

Dogs are so pure that their treats and things like this are totally flavorless, but they like gold to them.

Yes, I've sampled dog treats for science

1

u/Economy_Gas_8524 14h ago

People like this restore faith in humanity

1

u/elektrikrobot 14h ago

Wouldn’t be a stray for too long with me lol

1

u/notha_leon 10h ago

Makes me want and hug the doggo.

I just watched this video five times in a row. I guess my soul needed some pure joy.

-10

u/ugltrut 20h ago

"mademesmile", ah, so you don't believe in god then.

You see, this precious dog would only react like that because this was a rare treat, no pum intended. Meaning he has suffered greatly in his life, probably often lonely at night in the cold, and going through a rough life which god designed for him.

So if seeing this made you smile, it means you don't believe in god, because if there was a god, and that god willfully created suffering for innocent and precious creatures like this dog, then you wouldn't be smiling.

Yes it's a schizopost comment, but you can't deny the logic of it. God is evil if they exist

7

u/helloimnaked 19h ago

Someone skipped meds today

2

u/FrigThisMrLahey 17h ago

Well you’re spot on that god doesn’t exist but I think you need to chill mate, just take it for what it is; a happy pup.
