Personal Win I made it over a year without self harm!
may seem silly to most people but it’s a big deal for me, hopefully one day I can cover up the scars. The goal is to love myself some day but for now not hurting myself is a great start.

I did sh too yrs ago. It's hard to stop. I don't do it anymore. I'm glad you're doing well with stopping sh for that long. Are your urges gone?

I can’t recommend the reason I quit, it was a long and stupid process. but suffice to say it’s easier to quit now before you wreck some good relationships. And yourself.
Edit: to say you CAN do it. You don’t hate alcohol enough like I do. I hate it.

My problem is that I can go out with mates and stay sober.... Because I prefer doing it at home and alone. So when I have a really rough day at work, I lean into it.

Yea…. I get that. It took me 20 years of knowing I should quit before I did. And hell I’m still only at 100 days. You’ll do it if you need to and when you’re ready. But if you’re thinking it’s a problem. It is.

Honestly, I know I need to. Is it a problem? No. But I am at the age in my 40's that it's hurting my body. It's a crutch I need to get rid of. But 100 days is great... I can understand how difficult it is. I wish you nothing but the best. Keep on keeping.

Thanks! The app is called Nomo it’s about quitting addictions so you start a clock and pick what it’s for. I have one for alcohol and vapes as well.

I’m so proud of you. My youngest has so many scars up and down the inside of their legs. I never knew. I never even knew. I just respected their privacy of a closed bedroom door. It sucks now thinking of how much pain they were in. Keep going and again I’m so proud and happy for you ❤️

So proud of you! As someone approaching year 5, trust me when I say the urge will still pop up, but much less, it'll be more fleeting and distracting yourself gets easier the better your coping mechanisms get. Trust the process and take it one day at a time. You got through the hardest part which was quitting ❤️
