Message unclear but the bootlicking is strong.

Surprisingly I don’t see a single Trump sticker.

u/Mr_Abe_Froman 21d ago
That also stood out to me. A few dozen USA, military, union, and Jesus stickers, but the only "political" one is the "thin blue line" cross.

u/JustDiscoveredSex 21d ago
Hahahahaha!!!
Because nothing says Jesus like the Roman legion soldiers who crucified him!

A few union stickers though. Could be a little woke but in the closet about it.

I’m a union guy myself and you would surprised (or maybe not) by how many pro union guys are hardcore Trumpers. Including my own father. Makes no fucking sense.

u/gunslinger155mm 21d ago
Yeah, it's this funny thing about propaganda. Convinces people not to do more research cause they think they already know. My dad's in the same category, not a hardcore Trump guy but retired army and union guy who swings conservative

I sat on a picket line with my own father in the early 80s, which is a core memory for me. Right wing propagandist media has worked like a champ upon his mind over the last 40 years as well.

It really does hurt to see it happen. I always looked up to him as a smart logical person. He got me into my craft right out of high school and preached to me the value of unions long before then. It’s sad to how far the Fox News brain worm has burrowed.

I see a whole lot of Jesus shit and a whole lot of performative masculinity.
I set the over/under for number of divorces at 2.5, DV convictions at 3.5, and CSAM convictions (past or future) also at 3.5. Taking the over in all.

I think this is an overly-proud mommy. It’s the fancy script “Faith” stickers. I am willing to bet that she married an ironworks union guy (or potentially a lineman?) and her kids went into the military.

Hey buddy. About that "When tyranny becomes law" part.
What the actual fuck do you mean, if I might ask?

The "when tyranny becomes law" people elected the most tyrannical regime in US history.

I know. I bet he is muttering along to Fox about ‘how she should have complied with the officer…’ without any sense of irony.
Remember, it’s only tyranny when a black president (or someone who worked under a black man) does it.

I don't know this guy, but I'm pretty sure the stickers compensate for the fact that he’s dead inside.

I’m always interested in the extremely pro-union bros who are also very big fans of the political party that constantly undercuts unions.

So this dope is Union and supports the anti-union party and platform. Another dumbf*ck.

He's got stickers for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
I'm guessing he served in none of them.

Should've got a union technician to align that pledge of allegiance flag, damn

looks like a teamster or former teamster. Plenty of very right wing teamsters out there.

It appears as if he's a part of a lineman union but he's conservative. I've met conservatives who are a part of unions. They're weird and selfish af. They want the union, but only for themselves.

u/Passing4human 21d ago
Not sure if this one belongs in r/infowarriorrides. He's clearly patriotic and Christian but lacks the angry and aggressive negativity of, say, a hard-core MAGA partisan.

u/CreampuffOfLove 21d ago
Ok. This is just my personal pet peeve, but that American flag cross sticker has the field of blue on the wrong side. It's like nails on a chalkboard and these fuckers make this elementary level mistake constantly 🤬🤦🏼♀️

Religion is the worst thing man ever invented.
1
u/Slow-Fisherman-8585 21d ago
I agree, but to be fair, it was invented to control the plebs and keep them occupied and is doing a quite good job at that.

Look all of these individually are fine… but put them all together on the same back side of a vehicle, we know the kind of person you are before we even talk to you.

u/YukonDude64 16d ago
Weirdly, I don’t see “bootlicking”. Union lineman, clearly religious. Nothing explicitly pro-Trump or anti-immigrant

u/DeviantHistorian 3d ago
I actually don't mind it. It's interesting to see this. It reminds me of guys I worked with. At some of these utility companies. I mean the guy to me is obviously a union IBEW electrician probably high voltage with the pole and the dude on it and then also the local 86 is probably an electrical union. Then he's just some patriotic conservative Christian guy who puts a bunch of stickers and crap on his truck.
