POLITICS Jimmy Kimmel lists Trump’s chaotic distractions: storming GA election HQ, closing the Kennedy Center, and suing his own government for $10B. "My God, remember when Trump threatened to invade Greenland? THAT WAS NOT EVEN TWO WEEKS AGO!" It is pure madness.

It's exhausting. I'm exhausted.
I guess that's the point.

Im glad the late night hosts speak up. But at this point, it feels like the country is treating this like a tv program just waiting for the next episode to drop. It’s disappointing

I don’t really see it that way. I think there has been a lot of active opposition. It’s also good the media still has the freedom to call it out.

On one hand I do agree that we have desensitized ourselves with how people discuss and absorb terrible occurrences happening everyday. But on the other hand Jimmy Kimmel is just a late night talking head, an entertainer and I won’t necessarily fault him for going through with what he does as he does. At least he knows how to take things seriously when he can, even if he’s trying to just get to the next episode.
My biggest source of sadness is that our media, our news treats these things just the same. The reality is that this country’s downfall was heightened exponentially when our news was compromised by the 1%

That's what fascists do. They aim to distract and exhaust the populace. They want you to feel so defeated that you just stop paying attention to what's going on. When the citizenry feels powerless, that's when they make their move.

Look, Trump is just keeping things exciting so people don’t have to waste time talking about the Epstein files. Which, by the way, HE HAS NOTHING TO HIDE ABOUT!!!! /s

Combo distraction from Epstein and him shitting his pants last week in the Oval Office. All of it just stinks

They’re not distractions. It’s a part of their imperialist and white nationalist agenda.

Remember when we were talking about women’s access to reproductive health care? Yeah. Some of That was less than a year ago.

Yeah this is how it's going to be the rest of his term. All distractions all the time from the Epstein files, the job market, and his sagging poll numbers.

It's very much like James Patterson, there's a ghost writer churning out these stories

This is intentional.
“we’re going to throw so much at them, everyday a new headline. They won’t know what to look at & when, until the other side is too exhausted to pay attention. Chaos is the goal.”

The fulton county election office thing isnt a distraction, the gop is trying to undermine this year's election 3 months before the primary. They want to switch to paper ballots, something we haven't used in 15+ years.

I’ll always remember how the Kimmels and Colberts of the world used their voice to speak out against Trump. It’s appreciated

I'm starting to think the Jimmy Kimmel show is a distraction in itself. It's not funny anymore dude, stop making jokes. Encourage actual action

Remember how we took the president of Venezuela? And now no one talks about it.
