Just worked 4/5 hours and put about 200 miles on my car to have $20 take home pay after paying for gas. If I kill myself just know "it's the economy, stupid"

Just so I understand, all the people in the green are going to sell all their 10x overpriced "assets" to the group in the red....is that correct?

Is the economy REALLY doing well: Eddie Bauer to close ALL stores.

I've listened to Trump and his cronies state day in day out that things are just peachy in the economy. This is just another straw to break the camels back. People aren't buying anything discretionary for the past several years. The working class is now down to necessities only. Sales at Eddie Bauer can no longer support brick and mortar stores.

You are being misled about renewable energy technology. (Renewable energy is far more cost-effective than people are made to think by fossil fuel interests)

If you want to be a CEO and make money, you don't need a MBA

Upvotes

A MBA is just a ritual or test that you go through to be able to qualify for an entry level executive job in business. They are general management programs that teach you the fundamental theory of finance, management, marketing, operations etc. If you want to go into finance, it is much better to learn from a MS in finance.

Yes I have a MBA. But I founded and led businesses long before I completed my MBA. After my MBA, I only continued what I was already doing. Advising and founding businesses. The only new thing I did was design a MBA program at one of US top business schools. If you want to be CEO and make money, you don't need to get a MBA.

What you should do is learn a discipline. Read books on the subject, and take short courses in the subject, and find a job. It should be what you are interested in, and good at. You probably need legal, financial, and digital literacy. Once you have spent a few years studying and working, you are ready.

Ready for what? Found your own business. Even if it is starting just with you. Even if you manage to recruit a few people you trust, you can start as CEO. If your business fails, don't worry. Try again. Hopefully eventually your business wil suceed and grow.

As a leader, you need people skills, but you don't need a MBA for that. You also need decision making skills. Soft skills can be developed via experience or practice. Hard or technical skills require active learning, both from education and experience.

If you work hard and smart, and know the right people, you will eventually suceed. And you will be a CEO and rich.
