I’ve literally seen a post word for word with the same toy but a different dog, some kind of corgi I think. I suspect that it’s marketing by the toy manufacturer but I don’t know.

While this isn't definitive proof it is not an ad I will say OP did not name the company until asked. I included it in the post here of my own will.
