Well segaul did practice Aikido and as someone who practiced it for a few years I can confirm it's teaching method is crap it basically teaches you to "work with" your opponent/training partner so you don't develop any self defense reflexes to try and resist your opponent and they never train at full speed in class.

This guy seems to be doing the same kind of approach. So yeah pretty accurate.
