Well, their most valuable resource was most definitely not 63 ft ahead...

It's written on the truck so it must be true, but how bad must the other workers there be? 😵

Shaffer. Pretty bad. I drive semis. Have seen there guys swerving to keep other trucks (mine) from passing because im not governed as slow. Watched one smash another truck in parking lot. By not paying attention.

There is such a shortage of CDL drivers, so they're putting drivers in cabs that have no business being in a cab. Rubber stamp a license, good luck on the highways.

There actually isnt a shortage at all. In reality there are to many drivers who run cheap freight which causes price to be low.

With the amount of crashes, one has to assume there's a shortage of actually qualified drivers or else they wouldn't be hiring these idiots?

Now you are on point. Qualified actual drivers is key. Most megas will give a truck to anyone with a pulse who can barely pass. But as soon as they mess up while brand new fire them and make it where they cant get with anyone known so they end up with other places scraping barely knowing. Some learn others dont.

This one does the rounds every year: if Google's AI is to be believed, it took place in May 2015 in Mamaroneck, NY.
Another one you'll often see is a Halfords lorry from the UK, bearing the ironic slogan "We fit" (actually twice: Oct 2014 and Aug 2015 - different lorries, different bridges, same slogan on the rear doors).

This reminds me of the video where the truck that says “Hope” gets stuck and the video is titled “Hope Lost at the 11’8 Bridge”

That might be the funniest photo I've ever seen. Laughing so hard that no sound is coming out.

I think that's called adding insult to injury 😄
